Aamir Khan, who is gearing up for his upcoming release Laal Singh Chaddha, visited Gurudwara Bhatta Sahib in Punjab to seek blessings for the movie.
Aamir Khan, who was last seen in Thugs Of Hindostan, took over the media with a storm after he announced his next project Laal Singh Chaddha. The movie happens to be the Bollywood remake of Hollywood classic Forrest Gump. While the movie has been the talk of the town since its inception, Aamir recently added up to the buzz after he unveiled the teaser poster followed by his look from the movie. The Taare Zameen Par star will be playing the role of a Sikh in Laal Singh Chaddha and will be sporting a turbaned and bearded look.
To note, the movie has hit the floors and is currently being shot in Punjab. And while Aamir is busy shooting for this much anticipated project, he recently made a visit to Guru Bhatta Sahib in Punjab’s Ropar district to seek blessings for the roke. Dressed in an off-white shirt, Aamir was seen in his Laal Singh Chaddha look with a heavy beard. The superstar was also honoured with a siropa (an honourary piece of cloth) by the Gurudwara management there.
To note, this is the first time that Aamir will be seen in a turbaned look on the big screen. While the Dangal star has been working hard for the movie, it is reported that he will be gaining around 20 kgs for his look in Laal Singh Chaddha. Apart from Aamir, Laal Singh Chaddha will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role. Interestingly, the movie will mark Aamir and Kareena’s third collaboration after 3 Idiots and Talaash. Laal Singh Chaddha will be hitting the screens on Christmas next year.
